Galatians 6:9

“And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.”

In 2021, Memorial Episcopal Church decided to expand our use of a technology software called OnRealm. OnRealm is also a volunteer management software that allows the staff and team leaders to effectively communicate volunteer opportunities to the congregants. Volunteer opportunities can be found OnRealm (from your desktop browser) or on the go from the Realm Connect mobile app.

OnRealm church volunteer management system allows Memorial's staff and team leaders to manage volunteer opportunities in a more structured and efficient manner. Whether it be to usher, organize an event, chaperone a trip, or grill at this year's Homecoming. Ultimately, a volunteer role can be created for any type of volunteer activity.

As a volunteer, you can express your interest to serve by clicking on the "I'm Interested" icon when a volunteer opportunity becomes available or by expressing your interests and availability in your profile.

Every volunteer plays a crucial role at Memorial Episcopal Church. We often look to our congregation in times of need so, we hope that you are encouraged to sign up and begin volunteering with us.

SPOTLIGHTS

Zoom Tech Volunteer

Lucien (Lou) Huete is a senior at Baltimore Polytechnic Institute. He's still selecting his college for the Fall, but plans to study mechanical engineering. He lives in Bolton Hill and is little brother to Nico, Memorial's globe-trotting audio tech. Lou loves walking through the neighborhood to meet the furry neighbors (and sometimes the human ones too). He cares for three cats, Minnie, Slimy, and Rachel.

Lou will be earning community service hours in the Zoom Tech role through the end of Spring and possibly beyond.

New Coffee Hour Coordinator (Lead)

My name is Astrid Rebolledo-Payne. I attend Memorial Episcopal Church alongside my husband, Gabriel, and son, Sebastian.

I chose to serve on the hospitality ministry when I saw the opening in the e_news letter and felt a calling. I also enjoy organizing and baking, so I thought it would be a great fit!

God bless!
