Theme: Return of the Light 2: Hope

People of various cultures, religions and traditions in the Northern hemisphere have celebrated the promise of the return of the light on the Longest Night – the Winter Solstice. In this second “Return of the Light” Art Show we are seeking to share contemporary artistic expressions of “Hope” in the context of the Return of the Light.
In that light we are seeking visual artworks of any genre celebrating the theme “Hope” in the context of “Return of the Light.” In general, two-dimensional works need to be able to hang on 4’x8’ wall sections and should not exceed 46” in width or 96” in height. There are a few spaces that can accommodate larger works, but inclusion of larger works will be determined in context of the overall body of artworks selected. Accepted artworks need to be ready to hang. Three-Dimensional works will be considered. They must be solidly mounted. Due to technical and safety concerns, we are not able to suspend ariel artworks in the space. Fiber works may be submitted. If submitting technology-based artwork artists must provide all necessary equipment.
